    Private Dog Training Lessons

Private dog lessons give us the advantage of having a one on one working dog session with your family and your pooch. We can work on basic politeness around the home and obedience. You are trained at the same time your pooch is being trained with my full attention. This program can be tailored to fit the need of the client.

    • Sit
    • Down
    • Stay
    • Come
    • Walking on Leash

Information and techniques for potty training, crate training, leadership, basic commands, and redirecting behaviors such as jumping and destructive chewing can usually be solved in one or two sessions. Maybe you just want a lesson to brush up on your dog’s training and reliability by adding some distractions.

More serious dog behavior problems such as fear aggression, shyness, possession aggression with food or toys, dog to dog aggressions can be addressed in this one on one dog training format but might require several sessions to accomplish the desired results. We will use various behavior modification or systematic desensitization methods to address these types of dog behavior problems.
    Sessions usually run 1 hour

What your dog learns during these lessons depends on the client’s needs, what your pet already knows and the pace at which your dog can learn. To keep your dog progressing it is also important to continue training on a consistent basis utilizing the handouts and the skills shown to you during the lesson. This will help your pet retain the proper behaviors and to keep improving skills for a lifetime of enjoyable companionship with one another.
